The highly anticipated Poco F7 is poised to make its debut in India and select global markets between June 17 and June 19, 2025. This launch follows the earlier release of the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra models in March, solidifying Poco’s commitment to delivering high-performance smartphones at competitive prices.

Design and Display

The Poco F7 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. The device is anticipated to have a metal frame, providing a premium feel, and will likely include an IR blaster for added functionality.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Poco F7 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0, offering users the latest software features and optimizations.

Camera Capabilities

In terms of photography, the Poco F7 is anticipated to sport a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 20-megapixel front-facing camera is expected.

Battery and Charging

One of the standout features of the Poco F7 is its battery capacity. The Indian variant is expected to house a massive 7,550mAh battery, while the global version may come with a slightly smaller 6,550mAh battery. Both models are likely to support 90W wired fast charging, ensuring quick and efficient power replenishment.

Durability and Additional Features

The Poco F7 is anticipated to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, indicating robust dust and water resistance. This durability ensures the device can withstand various environmental conditions, making it a reliable companion for users on the go.

Pricing and Availability

While the exact pricing details are yet to be confirmed, industry insiders suggest that the Poco F7 will be competitively priced, potentially around ₹30,000 in India. This pricing strategy aims to position the Poco F7 as a formidable contender in the premium mid-range smartphone segment.

The upcoming launch of the Poco F7 is generating significant buzz among tech enthusiasts and consumers alike. With its impressive specifications, including a high-refresh-rate display, powerful processor, substantial battery capacity, and robust build quality, the Poco F7 is poised to make a strong impact in the smartphone market. As the launch date approaches, all eyes will be on Poco to see how this new offering stacks up against the competition.
