The launch date of the Infinix Hot 60i 5G is officially confirmed. The company will introduce its latest budget 5G smartphone in the Indian market on August 16, 2025. Positioned as a feature-rich yet affordable option, the Hot 60i 5G will offer 8GB RAM (including virtual RAM support), a 50-megapixel main camera, and a massive 6000mAh battery.

The phone’s microsite is already live on Flipkart, revealing key specifications and design highlights ahead of launch. With an aim to capture the attention of budget-conscious buyers, Infinix is positioning this phone as a strong contender in the under ₹10,000 segment.

Successor to the Infinix Hot 60 5G

Last month, Infinix launched the Infinix Hot 60 5G in India, expanding its 5G lineup. Now, the brand is ready to follow it up with the Hot 60i 5G. The upcoming model aims to provide similar performance benefits at an even more accessible price point.

The Flipkart listing confirms several standout features, suggesting that Infinix is targeting customers who want modern specs without stretching their budget.

Display and Design Details

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will feature a 6.75-inch LCD panel. The display will have an HD+ resolution for clear visuals. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, the phone will offer smoother scrolling and gaming experiences compared to many devices in its price range.

The handset will run Android 15-based XOS 15 out of the box. Infinix has integrated several AI-powered features into the software, enhancing usability and personalization.

AI Features for Smarter Use

Among its AI capabilities, the Hot 60i 5G will include a “Circle to Search” function, allowing users to quickly search for content on screen. The AI Eraser tool will help remove unwanted objects from photos, while AI Extender will optimize battery and performance.

To make AI tools more accessible, the device will have a dedicated “One Tap AI” physical button. This feature ensures users can launch AI functions instantly without navigating through menus.

Camera Capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Hot 60i 5G’s 50MP main camera. The rear setup will include AIGC Portrait for improved AI-driven image quality and Super Night Mode for better low-light photography.

The camera will support 10 different shooting modes, giving users flexibility for various scenarios. While the company has yet to disclose details about the front camera, expectations are high for a competitive selfie experience in this category.

Memory, Storage, and Performance

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will come with 4GB of physical RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM, making a total of 8GB RAM available for multitasking.

Storage options will start at 128GB internal memory. The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 6400 chipset, promising reliable 5G connectivity and decent gaming performance for the price.

Battery and Charging Features

A standout feature of the device is its massive 6000mAh battery. Infinix claims the battery can deliver up to 128 hours of music playback on a single charge.

The Hot 60i 5G will also support reverse charging, allowing users to power other devices through its large battery.

Durability and Protection

The phone will carry an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. This makes it more durable for daily use, especially in unpredictable weather conditions.

Color Variants and Expected Price

The Hot 60i 5G will be available in three colors — Black, Blue, and Torquoise. Infinix is expected to price the device around ₹10,000, making it highly competitive in the entry-level 5G segment.

Infinix’s Growing Focus on Affordable 5G

The launch of the Hot 60i 5G continues Infinix’s strategy to bring affordable 5G smartphones to the Indian market. By combining large batteries, AI features, and high-refresh-rate displays, the brand aims to appeal to younger users and first-time 5G buyers.

The company’s earlier Hot 60 5G was well-received for its balanced performance and value for money. The Hot 60i 5G builds on that success by improving accessibility while retaining essential features.

Competition in the Budget 5G Segment

Infinix’s new release will compete with models from Realme, Redmi, and Lava in the sub-₹10,000 category. With AI-focused features and a massive battery, the Hot 60i 5G could stand out among other entry-level options.

Availability and Launch Event

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart after the August 16 launch. The brand is expected to announce introductory offers, which may include bank discounts and exchange deals.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is shaping up to be a promising addition to the affordable 5G smartphone market in India. With a 50MP main camera, 6000mAh battery, 120Hz display, and AI-powered software, it checks many boxes for budget buyers.

Its combination of durability, performance, and affordability could make it one of the most sought-after phones in its segment after launch.
