Ram Temple Ayodhya: Final Phase of Construction, Grand Flag to Fly at 201 Feet, Ram Navami Preparations Underway

KKN Gurugram Desk | The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is now in its final phase. According to Temple Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra, the temple’s construction will be completed by April 15, 2025. He also confirmed that a grand flag will be installed at a height of 201 feet atop the temple. Preparations for Ram Navami celebrations on April 6 are already in full swing.

Ram Temple Construction: Completion by April 15, 2025

???? Temple Dimensions:
✔ Length: 360 feet
✔ Width: 250 feet
✔ Height: 161 feet

???? Materials Used:
✔ Total Required Stone: 4.5 lakh cubic feet
✔ Stone Installed Till Now: 4.3 lakh cubic feet
✔ Remaining Stone to be Installed: 20,000 cubic feet

The construction is almost complete, and only a few finishing touches remain.

Ram Navami Celebrations in Ayodhya

???? Ram Navami is on April 6, 2025 and will be celebrated grandly.

???? A special ‘Surya Abhishek’ (Sun Consecration) will be conducted for Ram Lalla.

???? Temple experts are coordinating with specialists to ensure the event is performed traditionally.

The festival is expected to attract millions of devotees from across India.

Ram Janmabhoomi Premises: A Grand Layout

The 75-acre Ram Janmabhoomi complex has been divided into two sections:

???? Central Section: The Ram Temple courtyard, spread over 8 acres.

???? Peripheral Section: Additional 13 temples are being built to complement the main temple.
✔ Inside the courtyard: 6 temples
✔ Outside the courtyard: 7 temples

???? Sculptures and idols for these temples will arrive from Jaipur in April.

This entire complex will reflect the grand spiritual and historical significance of Lord Ram’s birthplace.

201 Feet High Flag to Fly on the Temple Shikhar

???? The Ram Temple’s shikhar (pinnacle) is 161 feet high, but an additional 40-foot-long flag pole (dhwaj danda) will be installed.

???? This will raise the total height of the temple flag to 201 feet, making it a visible landmark in Ayodhya’s skyline.

???? The flag will also be installed on the temple’s entrance and six other Vedic shrines within the complex.

This sacred flag will symbolize the spiritual and cultural glory of Shri Ram.

Security Measures and Lightning Protection

???? The temple’s shikhar is undergoing final modifications, ensuring its structural integrity.

???? A lightning protection system is being installed to safeguard the temple from thunderstorms.

???? The temple trust has taken special measures to enhance the security and longevity of the temple structure.

With these steps, the Ram Temple will be protected for generations to come.
