Taylor Swift is now engaged to American footballer Travis Kelce | See Photos

American singer-songwriter Taylor broke the internet on Tuesday night by announcing her engagement to American footballer Travis Kelce. She took to her Instagram profiles to share five clicks from the dreamy proposal. 

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” read her caption as she shared the image of her engagement ring on Instagram.

Taylor shared five photos, in one of them, Travis can be seen on his knees, while in the second and fourth, the two can be seen embracing each other, and the third picture features the mighty diamond ring. In the last image, Travis and Taylor can be seen in their moment. 

Social media users are excited!

It is significant to note that Taylor has muted her comment section on Instagram. Hence, her fans had to move to X to express their excitement. A user wrote on X, ‘TAYLOR SWIFT IS FINALLY GETTING THE FAIRYTALE SHE HAS BEEN SINGING ABOUT FOR 20 YEARS’.

Another user wrote, ‘I’m so happy for my close personal friend Taylor Swift’. Another tweet read, ‘how do i explain to my nervous system that I’m not being held at gunpoint and it’s just Taylor Swift announced her engagement?’

When did it all start?

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sparked dating rumours in September after Swift attended a handful of Kelce’s games. The football star was also spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium in July. The two confirmed their romance in October as they stepped out holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty.

Since then, ‘Swifties’ have been waiting for the official announcement. The two seemed to be getting along pretty well and with no right rumours so a long wedding date was inevitable. 

Now it only remains to see when the two will exchange vows. Moreover, the internet seems to be waiting for Taylor’s wedding look.
