UPSSSC Vacancy 2025: Over 44,000 Group C Posts to Be Filled After PET Result

There is good news for youth awaiting government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has received proposals for 44,778 vacancies across various Group C posts. These positions will be filled once the UPSSSC PET Result 2025 is declared.

The state government has authorized UPSSSC to conduct recruitment for Group C positions. Departments have been instructed to submit their proposals online through the e-Adhiyachan portal. Chief Minister directives have ensured that all proposals reach the commission on time.

Recruitment Proposals Submitted

According to information available, the commission has received 868 recruitment proposals so far. These proposals cover 44,778 posts in total.

The commission is carefully verifying the details of each proposal. Officials are checking whether departments have mentioned reservation rules, qualifications, and age limits clearly. Proposals with discrepancies have been returned to respective departments with instructions to correct and resubmit.

The commission has directed all departments to specify details of unreserved, SC, ST, and OBC seats. Proper clarification will prevent delays and legal challenges in court.

Maximum Vacancies for Lekhpal Posts

The largest share of vacancies is for the post of Lekhpal. A total of 7,994 Lekhpal positions have been proposed for recruitment.

Technical services will see 5,431 posts, while junior assistant vacancies number 4,582. Additionally, 320 executive officer posts have been included in the proposals.

Other Significant Vacancies

Apart from Lekhpal, several other posts are also part of the recruitment plan.

There are 105 fisheries officer vacancies and 397 posts for homeopathic pharmacists. Technical posts include 255 BGC technicians, 560 compounders, and 564 excise constables.

Assistant development officers account for 545 posts, while 419 posts are reserved for assistant boring technicians. The commission has also received proposals for draftsman, visually impaired training graduate teachers, workshop superintendents, and assistant statistical officers.

Verification Process Underway

UPSSSC has emphasized the need for accurate and clear recruitment proposals. If details are vague, recruitment may face legal hurdles.

The commission is currently matching department proposals with eligibility and reservation guidelines. This process will ensure that once the PET Result is declared, advertisements for various posts can be released without delay.

PET Result Key to Recruitment

The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) is the foundation for Group C recruitment in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who qualify in PET 2025 will be eligible to apply for specific posts announced by UPSSSC.

The result of PET 2025 is expected soon, after which advertisements for 44,778 posts will be issued. This makes the exam critical for lakhs of candidates across the state.

Importance of PET for Job Aspirants

The PET exam was introduced to simplify recruitment. Instead of holding multiple preliminary exams, one PET shortlists candidates for all Group C posts. This saves time for both candidates and the commission.

With nearly 45,000 vacancies lined up, PET 2025 is more important than ever. The result will decide eligibility for recruitment across posts like Lekhpal, junior assistants, and technical services.

Reservation and Eligibility Clarifications

UPSSSC has asked departments to submit category-wise breakup of posts. This includes unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and OBC divisions.

Details on age limits and minimum qualifications must also be provided. Without these clarifications, recruitment notifications cannot be finalized.

Departments have been warned that vague proposals may cause delays. Legal challenges often arise when reservation or eligibility details are unclear.

Recruitment Expected After September

With the PET result expected in September 2025, recruitment advertisements will follow soon after. Departments are under pressure to resubmit corrected proposals quickly.

If all goes smoothly, applications for major posts like Lekhpal, junior assistant, and excise constable may begin before the end of the year.

Focus on Transparent Hiring

UPSSSC has stressed transparency in the entire recruitment process. All proposals are being verified thoroughly to prevent irregularities.

The commission aims to ensure that selection is based solely on merit and reservation rules. Strict scrutiny of departmental proposals is part of this effort.

Impact on Job Seekers

For job aspirants, this is the largest recruitment drive in recent years. With nearly 45,000 Group C vacancies, competition will be intense.

Candidates are advised to prepare according to the eligibility requirements of specific posts. Qualifying PET is the first step, but post-wise exams and interviews will follow.
