Shubhan Sharma, a resident of Ranchi, has made an impressive mark in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) by securing a 99.9 percentile, becoming the topper of Ranchi. This achievement not only reflects his hard work and dedication but also brings him one step closer to fulfilling his dream of studying at his favorite college. His remarkable performance, where he has excelled in multiple subjects, showcases the discipline and determination that led him to success. However, this journey to the top was not an easy one.

Shubhan’s Journey to the Top: Hard Work and Consistency

Shubhan’s achievement is a result of two years of focused preparation and dedication. He attributes his success to his ability to balance subjects and invest time in each area equally. “I made sure to give equal attention to all subjects. In Political Science, Sociology, and History, I achieved a 100 percentile. In English, I scored a 99.9 percentile,” Shubhan reveals.

His preparation wasn’t just about studying but also about maintaining consistency, practicing revision, and taking mock tests regularly. Shubhan mentions, “This exam is not as difficult as it seems, as long as you put in hard work, consistency, and revision. The key lies in tackling every weak point and working on it consistently.”

Inspiration from His Father: The Role of Discipline and Dedication

Shubhan shares that his inspiration comes from his father, who is currently serving in the army in Ranchi. “Seeing my father, I learned about discipline, dedication, and hard work. He is my idol, and his values have shaped the way I approach life and studies,” he says. Shubhan attributes much of his success to the strong foundation of discipline and perseverance instilled in him by his father.

Having seen the commitment and determination in his father’s professional life, Shubhan adopted a similar mindset towards his studies, ensuring that he stayed disciplined and focused throughout his preparation for the CUET.

Future Ambitions: Graduation from Delhi University and Civil Services

Shubhan has big dreams for his future. With his CUET success, he is aiming to complete his graduation from one of India’s top universities, the University of Delhi, specifically from its prestigious Hindu College. “After my graduation, I plan to pursue a career in civil services, particularly in the Indian Foreign Services (IFS). My idol in this field is Shashi Tharoor, who, to me, embodies the qualities of an excellent diplomat. I admire his communication skills and personality,” Shubhan says.

His ambition to serve as a diplomat and his admiration for Shashi Tharoor reflect his commitment to serving the country with dedication and professionalism, following in the footsteps of one of India’s most respected diplomats.

The Role of Consistency, Revision, and Mock Tests in Shubhan’s Success

Shubhan emphasizes the importance of hard work, consistency, and the role of mock tests in his preparation. “I joined several test series and solved them regularly. This helped me identify my weak points and focus more on them. By continually revising and practicing, I was able to work on every area of each subject,” he explains.

He suggests that anyone preparing for competitive exams like the CUET should focus on building a strong foundation by consistently practicing, taking mock tests, and ensuring thorough revision. According to Shubhan, the availability of online test series was also a crucial factor in understanding different types of questions and improving time management during the exam.

Support from School Teachers and Guidance

While Shubhan’s individual efforts were key to his success, he credits his school, DPS (Delhi Public School), and his teachers for playing a pivotal role in his preparation. He says, “The teachers at my school helped clear all my doubts. The study environment at school, coupled with the guidance I received from my teachers, was invaluable.”

Having a supportive environment, both at home and school, allowed Shubhan to focus on his studies without any distractions. His teachers’ guidance helped him stay on track, especially when it came to resolving doubts and refining his understanding of various subjects.

The Importance of a Balanced Study Approach

Shubhan’s approach to his studies was holistic. He balanced his focus across different subjects, ensuring that no topic or area was neglected. “I paid equal attention to each subject and made sure I was covering every concept. It was important for me to focus not just on strengths but also on areas where I had room for improvement,” he shares.

This balanced approach not only helped Shubhan score high but also prepared him for the rigorous academic journey ahead. His ability to manage multiple subjects and focus on every area with equal intensity is what set him apart from others.

Shubhan’s Tips for Future Aspirants

For students preparing for competitive exams, Shubhan has a few valuable tips to share. “Hard work is essential, but it’s the consistency that makes a real difference. Practice regularly, take mock tests, and revise frequently. These are the three keys to success in any exam,” he advises.

Shubhan also recommends the use of online resources to practice and prepare for exams. He believes that solving multiple test papers and analyzing them helps students improve their performance and identify weak areas.

Shubhan’s Story: A Message of Dedication and Discipline

Shubhan Sharma’s success story is a testament to the power of dedication, discipline, and consistency. His achievement in the CUET exam is not just about his academic brilliance but also about his unwavering commitment to his goals. The values instilled in him by his father, along with his own determination, have helped him achieve this remarkable feat.

Shubhan’s journey also reflects the importance of a well-rounded approach to preparation—balancing hard work, revision, and practice. With his aspirations set high and a clear roadmap for his future, Shubhan is well on his way to achieving even greater success in the coming years.

Shubhan Sharma’s achievement of a 99.9 percentile in the CUET is a milestone that many students can look up to. His story of success, fueled by discipline, dedication, and consistent effort, serves as an inspiration for others preparing for competitive exams. His goal of studying at Delhi University’s Hindu College and his aspiration to enter civil services reflect his ambition to make a meaningful impact in the world.

As Shubhan continues on his academic journey, his commitment to hard work and his ability to balance various aspects of his preparation will undoubtedly lead him to further accomplishments. His success in the CUET is just the beginning, and his future looks incredibly promising as he works towards his dreams of becoming a diplomat and contributing to the nation’s growth.

With a focused mindset and a clear vision, Shubhan Sharma is undoubtedly a role model for future generations, showing that hard work, consistency, and dedication can pave the way to success in any field.
