BSEB recently announced that the DElEd entrance test for the 2025-2027 session will begin from August 26, 2025. The examination will be conducted across designated exam centers in the state using Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The admit card will soon be uploaded on the official website with full details of the exam center and other essential instructions.

Important Details Mentioned on Bihar DElEd Admit Card 2025

The Bihar DElEd admit card will contain crucial information for candidates appearing in the exam. It will include the name of the examination center, the exam date, reporting time, gate closing time, exam duration, and general instructions that all applicants must follow. The official notification about admit card availability will also be issued separately by BSEB through a press release.

The admit card is considered a mandatory document for entry inside the exam center. Candidates must ensure that all details mentioned on the card are accurate and should immediately contact the board in case of any discrepancies.

Bihar DElEd Entrance Exam 2025

The Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Examination 2025 is an important test for candidates aspiring to pursue a Diploma in Elementary Education. The course is designed to prepare future teachers for primary and upper primary classes.

Applications for the DElEd session 2025-2027 were collected by the board in January 2025. The upcoming examination will serve as the qualifying test for admission into recognized DElEd training institutions across Bihar.

Admission Process After Bihar DElEd Exam

Candidates who successfully qualify for the entrance test will be considered for admission based on a merit list. The merit list will be prepared considering both the performance of candidates in the exam and their institutional preferences.

Once the results are declared, BSEB will issue a detailed advertisement explaining the allotment procedure of institutions, which will depend on the “merit cum choice” system. Selected candidates will then be able to secure admission to government or private training institutions approved by the Bihar Board.

Role of DElEd in Teacher Recruitment

The Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) is a compulsory qualification for candidates aspiring to apply for primary teaching posts. Successful completion of the DElEd diploma makes candidates eligible to apply for teaching jobs in classes 1 to 8.

However, candidates must also qualify for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be eligible for final recruitment. This requirement ensures that teachers entering the system are academically competent and professionally trained to handle young learners.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Bihar DElEd Exam 2025

BSEB has already announced the minimum qualifying marks for the entrance exam. Candidates from the unreserved category must score at least 35 percent, while candidates from reserved categories require a minimum of 30 percent to qualify.

Achieving the qualifying score is necessary to be considered for the merit list. However, actual admission will depend on the availability of seats, merit position, and institutional preferences provided by the candidate.

Bihar DElEd Exam Pattern 2025

The Bihar DElEd entrance examination will be objective in nature and conducted online through CBT mode. The paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each, making the total maximum marks 120.

The question paper will cover six major sections that test language proficiency, analytical ability, and subject knowledge. The distribution of questions is as follows:

  • General Hindi / Urdu – 25 questions

  • Mathematics – 25 questions

  • Science – 20 questions

  • Social Studies – 20 questions

  • General English – 20 questions

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning – 10 questions

There will be no negative marking in the test, allowing candidates to attempt all questions confidently.

Candidates must report to the exam center well before the gate-closing time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances. Candidates must also carry a valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, or driving license along with the admit card.

Electronic devices, calculators, smartwatches, and study material will be strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Any violation of rules may lead to disqualification.

Expected Competition in Bihar DElEd 2025

The Bihar DElEd entrance examination is expected to witness heavy competition this year. Thousands of aspirants across Bihar apply each year for limited seats in government and private teacher training institutes.

With teacher recruitment becoming more structured and professional, the demand for DElEd seats has grown significantly. The diploma not only provides an entry point into the teaching profession but also enhances the professional skills of future educators.

Importance of DElEd for Bihar’s Education System

Bihar, being one of the most populous states in India, faces a constant demand for qualified teachers at the primary level. The DElEd program plays a pivotal role in preparing competent teachers who can contribute to improving the state’s education system.

By ensuring a fair and transparent entrance exam, the Bihar Board seeks to maintain quality in teacher training. The focus remains on producing teachers who are academically strong, professionally trained, and equipped with modern teaching methodologies.

The Bihar DElEd Admit Card 2025 will be released soon at secondary.biharboardonline.com. With the exam beginning on August 26, 2025, candidates must keep track of official updates and download their admit cards on time.

The entrance exam will open doors for thousands of aspirants seeking to become primary and upper primary teachers. With a structured exam format, clear qualifying criteria, and a transparent admission process, BSEB aims to ensure that only deserving candidates join the teaching profession.

The DElEd diploma continues to be a crucial step for anyone aspiring to build a career in teaching. As Bihar prepares for the 2025 DElEd entrance examination, candidates must focus on revision, time management, and accuracy to secure their place in this highly competitive process.
