The Bihar Police Constable Exam 2025 begins from July 16 across all 38 districts. This major recruitment drive aims to fill 19,838 constable positions under the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC). The written examination will be held in a single shift on pre-scheduled dates.

Exam Schedule and Centers

The examination will be conducted on six dates: July 16, 20, 23, 27, 30, and August 3. Each exam day will follow the same schedule. The exam will start at 12 PM and end at 2 PM. Entry will be allowed from 9:30 AM. The center gates will close at 10:30 AM sharp. After this, no candidate will be allowed to enter.

To manage the large number of applicants, 627 centers have been established. These centers are spread across all district headquarters in Bihar. The Bihar Police Constable Bharti 2025 is expected to witness lakhs of candidates appearing for selection.

Guidelines for Bihar Constable Exam Candidates

The CSBC has issued strict exam-day guidelines. All candidates must follow these instructions to avoid disqualification:

  1. Reach Early at the Center
Candidates must reach the exam venue 2.5 hours before the exam starts. This means reporting by 9:30 AM is compulsory.

  2. Admit Card and Valid ID Are Mandatory
Candidates must carry their printed e-Admit card. Along with that, a valid photo ID is required. Acceptable IDs include Aadhar card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, or PAN card.

  3. Do Not Carry Pens
Pens will be provided at the exam center. Use only the official pen supplied for answering.

  4. Electronic Devices Not Allowed
Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earbuds, or any digital gadgets are banned. Bringing them could result in immediate disqualification.

  5. Biometric Verification
Candidates will undergo biometric verification. Both thumbs will be scanned using biometric machines at the center.

  6. Strict Surveillance via CCTV
All exam halls are under CCTV surveillance. Every activity will be recorded and monitored throughout the examination.

  7. One Shift for Uniformity
All exam days will follow a one-shift system. This eliminates the chance of paper leakage or unfair practices.

Security Measures Against Malpractice

The Bihar Police Department has deployed strict anti-cheating protocols. A law passed last year mandates ten years of imprisonment and a fine of up to ₹1 crore for those caught cheating.

These measures ensure transparency in the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025. The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has also released an advisory for candidates.

Beware of Fake Calls and Paper Leaks

The EOU warns candidates about fake calls and messages promising leaked question papers. Many fraudsters use platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram to target aspirants. They may send phishing links or fake promises in exchange for money.

If any candidate receives suspicious communication, they must immediately alert the local police station or cyber crime cell.

EOU Helpline for Reporting Suspicious Activity

To assist candidates, the EOU has issued a helpline number: 8544428404. Any information related to cheating, rumors, or scams should be reported here. Candidates can also email such cases to:

If any fake paper or leaked answer key is seen circulating, aspirants are advised not to share it in WhatsApp groups or on social media. Instead, send the link to local police for authenticity verification.

Dress Code and Decorum Inside the Exam Center

The exam authority advises candidates to wear simple clothes. Avoid clothing with too many pockets, shoes with thick soles, or any accessories. Candidates should not wear caps, sunglasses, or jewelry.

Girls are advised to avoid bangles, earrings, or fancy hair accessories. Simplicity will help in smooth frisking at the center gates.

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures (If Applicable)

If any health advisory is active, candidates must follow basic hygiene protocols. This may include wearing masks, maintaining distance, and using sanitizer at entry points. Thermal screening may also be carried out at some locations.

Total Vacancies and Selection Process

The Bihar Police is recruiting 19,838 constables in 2025. The selection process includes:

  • Written Test (OMR based)

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Document Verification

  • Final Merit List

The written test is qualifying in nature. Candidates who clear it will be called for the physical test round.

What to Expect in the Written Test

The Bihar Constable written exam will test candidates on General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The paper is of 100 marks and will consist of multiple-choice questions. The minimum qualifying marks vary category-wise.

No negative marking is expected, but candidates should still attempt with accuracy. The use of unfair means can lead to a lifetime ban from future exams.

Important Reminders Before Exam Day

  • Print your e-Admit card at least two days before the exam.

  • Visit the exam center location one day prior to avoid confusion.

  • Sleep early and stay hydrated.

  • Carry only the allowed items on exam day.

  • Read all instructions printed on the Admit Card carefully.

The Bihar Police Constable Exam 2025 is a major opportunity for aspirants seeking a government job. With nearly 20,000 vacancies, the competition is high. Following exam guidelines strictly will help avoid disqualification. Avoid rumors, ignore fake promises, and stay focused.

Candidates are advised to remain updated via the official CSBC website. No information from unofficial sources should be trusted.

For real-time updates, keep checking the CSBC portal or the official recruitment notifications. Bihar Police recruitment authorities are ensuring a fair, secure, and transparent exam process for all.
