KKN Gurugram Desk | With Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 approaching, all political parties are actively preparing for the battle. Among them, Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party is gaining momentum. Kishor, known as a master political strategist, has taken the field himself, conducting public meetings and making major electoral promises.

In a recent address, Prashant Kishor outlined five key initiatives that his party would undertake if elected. These promises primarily focus on the upliftment of Scheduled Castes (SC) and employment generation for Bihar’s youth. His announcements have stirred discussions in the political landscape of Bihar.

Prashant Kishor’s Focus on Scheduled Castes: 5 Key Commitments

During a political event at the Bihar Satyagraha AshramPrashant Kishor engaged in a discussion with Ambedkar Vahini Pradesh members, sharing insights from his two-year-long padyatra (foot march) across Bihar. He highlighted shocking statistics regarding Scheduled Castes (SC) and their representation in education and employment.

According to Bihar’s caste census, only 3% of SC students complete Class 12, even 78 years after India’s independence. This concerning data reinforces Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision, emphasizing the need for education, organization, and struggle.

Prashant Kishor’s 5 Key Promises for SC Community in Bihar

???? Identifying 10 active youths from every village and training them for self-employment.
???? Providing a five-day training program at Satyagraha Ashram to enhance their skills.
???? Helping them earn between ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per month, reducing migration for labor work.
???? Empowering them with digital skills and mobile-based employment opportunities.
???? Promoting educational reforms to increase SC students’ access to quality education.

Kishor’s employment and education-focused approach aims to address Bihar’s long-standing socio-economic challenges.

Congress Criticizes PM Modi’s Promises in Bihar

Alongside Kishor’s campaignBihar Congress leaders launched a sharp attack on PM Narendra Modi, questioning his unfulfilled promises.

Congress State President and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh criticized Modi’s speech in Bhagalpur, calling his commitments nothing more than political gimmicks. He labeled Modi’s words as “a new packaging of deception and false promises”.

PM Modi’s Unfulfilled Promises in Bihar: Congress’ Allegations

???? 2015 Purnia Airport Promise: Congress claims that Modi promised an airport in Purnia in August 2015, which is yet to materialize.
???? 2019 Muzaffarpur Airport Assurance: In a rally, Modi assured the revival of Patahi Airport, but it remains non-functional.
???? ₹1.25 Lakh Crore Bihar Package: Modi announced this financial aid in 2015, but Bihar CM Nitish Kumar later revealed that only ₹17,000 crore was received.
???? Delayed National Highway Projects: Out of 44 planned highways27 remain incomplete, and 17 do not even have a Detailed Project Report (DPR).

Congress leaders argue that the Modi-Nitish alliance has failed Bihar, with broken promises and incomplete infrastructure projects.

Bihar’s Political Battle: Jan Suraaj vs. BJP vs. Congress

As the Bihar Assembly Elections near, a fierce political battle is shaping up.

Where Do The Parties Stand?

  • Prashant Kishor’s Jan SuraajTargeting SC upliftment, employment, and grassroots leadership.
  • BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party)Focusing on Modi’s leadership and infrastructure development.
  • Congress-RJD AllianceHighlighting Modi’s unfulfilled promises and Nitish Kumar’s governance failures.

With multiple parties vying for Bihar’s votersdevelopment, employment, and caste-based representation remain the core electoral issues.

Can Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Make an Impact?

Prashant Kishor, one of India’s most sought-after political strategists, has played a crucial role in shaping election campaigns for multiple parties in the past. However, this time, he is directly entering the political battleground with his own party.

Why Prashant Kishor’s Approach is Different?

✅ Grassroots Engagement: His two-year-long padyatra has strengthened his direct connection with Bihar’s people.
✅ Employment-Centric Vision: Unlike traditional parties, he is emphasizing digital employment over caste politics.
✅ Caste Census Insights: His strategies are data-driven, focusing on real socio-economic issues.

Kishor’s promise to train village youth for self-employment through mobile technology is a fresh approach in Bihar’s political scenario. However, whether this approach translates into votes remains to be seen.

Bihar Elections 2025: What Lies Ahead?

With PM Modi’s promises under scrutiny, Congress’ criticism, and Prashant Kishor’s employment-driven agenda, the Bihar election battle is heating up.

???? Key Election Issues in Bihar 2025

  • Employment Generation – Will digital jobs and self-employment initiatives change Bihar’s economy?
  • Infrastructure Development – Will Modi’s road and airport projects be completed?
  • Caste-Based Representation – Will SC communities vote based on their upliftment programs?
  • Political Strategy vs. Traditional Politics – Can Prashant Kishor’s modern approach challenge the established political giants?
