According to preliminary information, the accident likely happened late at night or early morning. No one witnessed the incident at the time. On Friday morning, villagers reached Ekma Chowk for routine work. They noticed a car submerged under the Vaishali canal bridge.

Only a small portion of the vehicle was visible above water. The scene immediately caused panic among locals. People gathered near the canal and informed the police without delay.

Police and Rescue Teams Rush to the Spot

After receiving information, police from Deoria police station reached the site. Station House Officer Manoj Kumar Sah led the police team. Considering the seriousness of the situation, local divers were called immediately.
