A direct result link is available on the official website, making it easier for candidates to access their scorecard without navigating multiple pages. By clicking this link, candidates can instantly view their performance in the CBT.

The release of the result marks an important step in the recruitment process, as successful candidates will now proceed to the next stage.

Recruitment Process and Next Steps

Candidates who have scored equal to or above the cut-off marks in the CBT are eligible to move to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and document verification stage.

It is important to note that the PET and PST are qualifying in nature. This means that candidates only need to pass these tests to remain in the selection process; marks obtained in these stages will not be added to the final merit list.

Physical Standards for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment

The PST requires candidates to meet specific physical standards. For male candidates, the minimum height requirement is 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm). For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm).

Candidates who fail to meet these standards will be disqualified, regardless of their performance in the written examination. Therefore, meeting these physical benchmarks is essential for progressing further.

Importance of the CBT Stage

The CBT is the primary merit-based stage of the recruitment process. It tests candidates on various subjects relevant to the role of a police constable. Scoring well in the CBT is crucial because it is the only stage where marks contribute to the merit list.

Once the PET, PST, and document verification are completed, the final merit list will be prepared based on CBT scores, subject to candidates passing all qualifying stages.

What Candidates Should Do Next

Candidates who have cleared the CBT should start preparing for the PET and PST immediately. This involves maintaining physical fitness, practising running drills, and ensuring they meet the height requirements. They should also gather and organise all necessary documents for the verification process, including educational certificates, identity proof, and caste or category certificates if applicable.

It is advisable for candidates to check the official website regularly for updates regarding PET and PST dates, venue details, and any changes to the schedule.

Document Verification – A Critical Stage

Document verification will be conducted after the PET and PST. Candidates must ensure that the information provided in their application matches the documents they present. Any discrepancy may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.

Applicants are encouraged to prepare original documents along with photocopies and keep them neatly organised to avoid delays during verification.

Final Selection and Appointment

The final merit list will be published after all recruitment stages are completed. Candidates who feature in this list will receive appointment letters for the position of Constable in the Punjab Police. The appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents.

Successful candidates will undergo training as per the Punjab Police guidelines before being posted to various units across the state.

Significance of the Recruitment Drive

This recruitment is a significant step towards strengthening the law enforcement capacity in Punjab. With 1,746 new constables to be inducted, the Punjab Police aims to enhance its operational efficiency and maintain public safety across the state.

The selection process is designed to ensure that only physically fit, mentally alert, and qualified candidates join the force.

The Punjab Police Constable Result 2025 has been released on the official website, punjabpolice.gov.in. Candidates who have cleared the CBT should now focus on preparing for the PET, PST, and document verification stages. Meeting the physical standards is crucial, as these are mandatory qualifying requirements.

The recruitment process is competitive, but with dedication and preparation, eligible candidates can secure a place in the final merit list and join the Punjab Police force.
