  4. Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is between 21 years and 30 years as of April 30, 2024. This means candidates should not have been born after April 30, 2004, and not before May 1, 1995.

      • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
      • OBC candidates: 3 years
      • PwBD candidates: As per government norms

Upon selection, Circle Based Officers (CBOs) will be appointed in the Junior Management Grade Scale (JMGS-I). The initial basic pay for a CBO is ₹48,480/-. The pay scale applicable is ₹48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.

In addition to the attractive basic pay, CBOs are eligible for various allowances and benefits, including:

  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA) or Lease Rental facility
  • City Compensatory Allowance (CCA)
