KKN Gurugram Desk |  The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) is once again facing exam malpractice issues, with cases of paper leaks and cheating surfacing during ongoing board exams. After the Class 12 English paper was leaked in Nuh on Thursday, reports emerged on Friday about the Class 10 Mathematics paper being leaked as well.

The incident has raised serious concerns about the security of board exams, despite officials claiming strict measures to prevent cheating and paper leaks. In response, special flying squads have been deployed across examination centers to curb malpractices.

✅ The examination center superintendent was instructed to file a police complaint against the accused students.
✅ Mamta Rani, a supervisor from AMU Public School Bichhor, was removed from examination duty for negligence.

The incident has raised serious concerns over the credibility of the Haryana Board exams, especially since it occurred just a day after the Class 12 English paper leak in Nuh.

What Measures Can Be Taken to Prevent Paper Leaks?

The Haryana education board is under pressure to strengthen security to ensure a fair examination process. Here are some key steps that can be taken to prevent future leaks and cheating cases:

1. Digital Surveillance at Examination Centers

  • CCTV cameras should be installed at all examination centers.
  • Strict monitoring of students, invigilators, and examination staff is needed.

2. Sealed Question Papers with GPS Tracking

  • Examination papers should be digitally encrypted and sent securely to centers.
  • GPS tracking should be used for paper transportation to avoid leaks.

3. Biometric Verification for Students and Staff

  • Schools should verify student identities through biometric authentication.
  • Examiners and invigilators should undergo background checks before being assigned duties.

4. Strict Punishment for Offenders

  • Teachers or officials involved in leaks should face criminal charges.
  • Students caught cheating should be disqualified from the exam.

5. Artificial Intelligence-Based Monitoring

  • AI-based software should be used to monitor unusual activity in online exam discussions.
  • WhatsApp groups and social media should be tracked for potential leaks.

Haryana Education Board’s Next Steps

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) is under immense pressure after these back-to-back paper leaks. The board is expected to take severe actions against those responsible.

The education department and law enforcement agencies are investigating to identify the entire network behind these leaks.

The Haryana government must implement long-term reforms to improve examination security and regain public trust in the board exams.

The back-to-back leaks of Class 12 English and Class 10 Mathematics board exams have raised serious concerns about exam security in Haryana.

???? The involvement of teachers in the paper leak is alarming and suggests the need for better supervision and background checks.
