KKN Gurugram Desk |  The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 10th board exams have officially started today, with over 15 lakh students appearing across the state. The exam is being conducted in two shifts – the first shift runs from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

To ensure a fair and organized examination process, more than 1,600 exam centers have been set up across Bihar. Among these, 73 centers are in the capital city, Patna. Each center is under CCTV surveillance, and police personnel have been deployed for security and anti-cheating measures.

Strict Guidelines Issued by BSEB for Exam Conduct

The Bihar Board has released strict guidelines for students appearing in the matriculation exams. Every candidate must follow these rules to avoid disqualification.

Important Instructions for Students:

  • Students must reach the exam center well before the scheduled time.
  • Entry will be allowed only with the admit card and valid identity proof.
  • Carrying any restricted items inside the exam hall is strictly prohibited.
  • Compliance with all security checks at the entrance is mandatory.

The board has introduced these measures to maintain the integrity of the examination process and prevent any malpractices.

Subjects Covered on the First Day of Exam

The Bihar Board 10th exam has started with mother tongue subjects. Students are appearing for papers in:

  • Hindi
  • Urdu
  • Bangla
  • Maithili

In the first shift, a total of 7,92,987 students are taking the exam.

Security and Anti-Cheating Measures Implemented

To ensure a cheat-free examination, the Bihar Board has implemented multiple security measures across all centers.

Key Security Measures:

  • CCTV Cameras: Installed at every exam center to monitor activities inside and outside the hall.
  • Police Deployment: Security personnel stationed at each center to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Biometric Verification: Some centers are conducting biometric verification for student authentication.
  • Ban on Electronic Devices: No mobile phones, smartwatches, or electronic gadgets are allowed inside.

Students and invigilators have been instructed to strictly follow these guidelines. Anyone found violating the rules will face strict action from the board.

What Students Can Carry to the Exam Hall?

The BSEB has permitted only a few essential items inside the examination hall. These include:

❌ Jewelry or accessories – Rings, bracelets, or any metal objects.
❌ Bags and extra stationery – Only permitted writing materials are allowed.

Special Arrangements for Students with Disabilities

  • Extra time is given to students with specific needs.
  • Separate seating arrangements have been made at selected centers.
  • Assistive tools are permitted based on requirements.

Parents and Teachers Urged to Support Students

With exams being a crucial phase for students, parents and teachers have been advised to provide emotional and academic support.

  • Encourage students to revise regularly and follow a healthy routine.
  • Avoid pressuring them and help in stress management.
  • Ensure they reach the exam center on time with all required documents.

Bihar Board’s Focus on Transparent Examination Process

The BSEB has been taking strict actions over the past few years to maintain transparency and discipline in board exams.

  • Introduction of CCTV monitoring and barcoded answer sheets.
  • Deployment of flying squads to conduct surprise checks.
  • Strict penalties for students and invigilators involved in malpractice.

Teaching Scholars and Coaching Institutes Wish Students the Best of Luck
